Valley Drug & Variety is the store for all your health and prescription needs. Our pharmacists and technicians provide you fast, friendly prescription service at very competitive prices. We accept most third party payments for your prescriptions. We are dedicated to providing you, our customers, with the highest possible quality customer service. You are our most important asset.

Tammy Harris, RPh.
Tammy graduated from the University of Montana in 2003. She has worked at Valley Drug for 10 years, first as an Intern and then as Pharmacist. Tammy is married with two children and her hobbies are fishing, camping, and scrapbooking. She enjoys working at Valley Drug because of the customers. "Thank you for your continued support."

Dan Severson, RPh.
Dan graduated as a Pharmacist in 1971 from the University of Montana. He started Family Pharmacy in 1983 and purchased Valley Drug in 1991. Dan and his wife, Debbie, also operate Severson's Flying E Ranch, raising cattle and sheep. The ranch specializes in Maine-Anjou and Angus show cattle. "Thank you for your support of Valley Drug. What I think makes Valley Drug special is the fact that everyone who works here truly cares about you, our valued customer and each other."

 

 

 

Pat Kane, RPh.
Pat graduated from the University of Montana Pharmacy School in 1972. He owned his own pharmacy in Missoula for almost 25 years. Pat has been at Valley Drug for 7 years and "enjoys working with my fellow employees and serving our customers". Pat lives in Corvallis with his wife, Deb.

 

 

 

Ruth Hill, CPhT
Ruth has worked at Valley Drug for 13 years. She went thru "on the job training" for her Pharmacy Technician duties and has lived in the Bitterroot for 25 years. Ruth is married with one son and she enjoys lots of outdoor activities such as hunting and camping. "Valley Drug is the best place to work."

 

 

 

 

Shawna Fesler, CPhT
Shawna has lived in the Bitterroot for 19 years and worked at Valley Drug for 8 years. She took a home study course and "on the job training" to become a Pharmacy Technician. Shawna was recently married and her hobbies include scrapbooking, shopping, traveling and dining out. "I enjoy coming to work everyday."

Jeannie Hooten, RPh.
Jeannie graduated from Oregon State Pharmacy School in 1981 and has been here at Valley Drug for the past 5 years. In her spare time she also works at Harvard Avenue Drug, located in Oregon for her father. Jeannie enjoys working in an independent community pharmacy. Jeannie and her family have lived in the Bitterroot Valley for 14 years. 

 

Joey Wark

Joey has worked at Valley Drug for 2 years.  He grew up in Stevensville, went to Whitworth College in Spokane where he played on the college baseball team.  "I do whatever the ladies tell me to do, I move all their heavy items up and down the elevator, I am only here to serve".  Besides working at Valley Drug, Joey substitute teaches and coaches at Stevensville High School.

Carola Mielke

Carola is the Store Manager and has been employed here for 26 years.  Her specialty is the Animal Health Department.  "I enjoy working with people and being able to find what the customer needs when they come to Valley Drug."  Carola is a fifth generation from Stevensville who loves to camp, hike, and fish.
